Default Satellite radio

I would like to hard wire both power and aux plug on my SG. Could some one please give me instructions on how to do this? Also how to hide the wires. My bike is in paint shop so now is the time to do it.
Thanks Bandit

What do you use the AUX plug for? I have a XM...Roady II, and all I use is the power and antenna.

The Sirius motorcycle mount comes with hard wire components for all Sirius radios.

I've never had the radio out so all I can tell you is if there's not a Aux input in the back of the radio you'll have to us the front input. I doubt if you want open the radio to do it.

be cautuous and aware that not all the sat radios (Sirius) run on 12v. thus, you will need a connector that is designed to convert the power from the bike's 12 volt to 4.5 volts or so that some of the radios run on. quick way to smoke the radio if you're not careful. I added a power plug (cigarette lighter receptical) under my fairing to attach the power cord from my Sirius. Since then, I think that cyclegadgets.com or others have a power cord that reduces the voltage and allows for a direct hard-wire.
