Wondering if you have a passenger using a headset on a Ultra and you are notwill the sound still come through the speakers or does it cancel the speakers when you plug in a headset anywhere on the bike?

 

On my bike to enable sound throiugh the headset(s) you turn the speakers off, it's one or the other not both.

3 position switch on the console near the ignition.Experiment with that. fron or forward,middle and back. It is explained in the manual as well.

 

I keep the radio through my external speakers (the headset speakers suck) . But, still keep intercom and CB through the headset. You can talk back and forth to passenger hands free (VOX) through headsets. CB is used by pressing thumb switch.

 

Stash, explain how you talk back and forth to your passenger without pushing the thumb switch. I didn't think that was possible......... I'm new to the headsets, obviously, so I could use some help.

open your VOX to maximum.....and talk w/o push PTT...even the horn will activate the PTT itself....LOL

 

Thanks Sanaga. I'll try it. I agree that the intercom speakers suck. I wonder if it's possible to upgrade the little speakers, somehow..........
