Default exhaust or not to exhaust

I have a 2008 Streetglide, looking here who dosen't, bought Rineharts True Duals and wondering should I put them on with the remote possiblilty that the TMAX will be available for my bike by spring ? I live in Michigan --today its 17 degrees F, my shop is heated and calling me. I spoke to Zippers last week, last fall they said "January" now they are saying "spring" I ask by bike week? and they dont have an answer, arghhh. I have made up my mind it will be the TMAX....when ever they release it as I will be doing motor work later and am not interested in 3 or 4 Dyno trips to adjust every time I add to the engine. I would like to think the motor will be "stock" for awhile, but the last bike was a 2002 CVO Wide Glide 3 with a 97CI producing 111hp / 113tq, so this 96 just dosen't quite cut it.

Sounds cold there. If you're not riding, I'd probably say wait. But, if you are riding, or planning on riding in late winter/early spring before the '08 TMax is dialed in, well that's a different story.

My suggestion might sound like a waste of money, but why not pick up a PCIII from Fuel Moto (like $249)to put on in the mean time. Then you can sell it on ebay or to a friend when you are ready for to buy the TMax. Least you'd be able to ride if you by chance get an uxpectedbreak in the weather.

Do you have a SE AC or another type, just adding the exhaust should not hurt you if you have not changed AC's. Any way it will probably be spring before you get to ride much, so just wait it out. The Tmax is worth the wait, best thing going I don't care what anyone says, my bike is stock except for the SE AC and it jumps now, will be adding Peacemaker exhaust when I get the desire to put them on and I have true duels now also. Tmax rules.
