I have a '05, and it is checked straight up... the best way to make sure the correct amount of fluid is put in, is to do it yourself... get a manual... it really isn't hard... I did it, so any moron is capable...

 

Yes I agree. And after reading the posted link above, I think everybody on this forum knows now that the 08 trannies are checked on the Jiffy Stand not with the bike level. Also that they hold 32oz's not 20oz's.

Now I just have to see how my dealer checked it and came up short 10 ounces and hope they did not f*&k anything up.
