RE: Part # for "good" SE II slip ons
Not sure exactly what you are looking for, but here is part numbers for the touring mufflers I had on my '05 springer classic. They were great sounding muffs, slash down type. 64900-99
As for doing anything else, you will need to add a fuel management system such as a Screamin' Eagle Race Tuner or Power Commander, as well as an improved intake system such as Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 intake.
Stage 1 intake part number is 29260-08
Hope this helps.

These are the ones Supertrapp made for Harley before Harley began playing the EPA game. Supertrapp continues to make these same slipons in the ones I have for my bike called the Supertrapp SE.

Is this part number for the ones that you get the different tips for? Do you need to do the SERT or Power commander for them also on an '08 RK?

There is the link where I bought mine. See the tip selection?
If you are doing JUST slip-ons, then you can get by without a fuel management system...ie..SERT or PCIII or your flavor of the week. If you change pipes AND aircleaner then it is recommended you have a fuel management system to correct the already lean condition.

65115-98b...Obsolete...but there are many dealers in many states that still show them in inventory

Ultrakla$$ic has it. 65115-98B were the old SE II mufflers which were made by Supertrapp. The new Supertrapp number is 128-65115 (same muffler and you can use the old tips for the SE pipes). Check out this shootout and notice that the Supertrapps came in #1 in TQ and at the top in relative quietness though they aren't quiet - just good sounding:

I have the SE Pro slip-on's on mine which are the 65115-98B I also put on the billet slashcut tips,i think they just look nicer than the reg thin steel slash cuts, they also pass the noise level requirments of NH for state inspection . Not overly loud, but do bark pretty good when you get on the throttle, nice deep tone
