Well think the cup holder is a goner...
Been bitching since I started riding that I wanted a cup holder to take my coffee with m in the morning.
So I bought a Kruzer Kaddyand installed it last week.
with a bottle of water it vibrates so much that the bottle turns sideways...not for me...maybe I'll be te bag guard bags...it's all really about having convienient water anyway.

I just bungee down my Mr. Coffee on the luggage rack and run a 9 mile extension cord.
By the time I geton the freeway it's brewed. I'm out of extension cord, but the coffee's hotand I just run 6 ft of 1/2" copper tubing over my shoulder with a garden spigot and I'm good to go!
Still trying to iron out the kinks in my plan to run a milk steamer off my header pipes.
BTW: I found that if you remove one of your mirrors but leave the stem behind it makes a great place to hang doughnuts off of.
Just stay away form the strawberry filled ones. The citric acid in the filling wreaks havoc on the clearcoat.

Had the saddle bag guard bottle holder but it gets hot fast. Used a plastic bottle holder off a mountain bike. made a mount for it on the clutch leverbracket,Worked great. It was one of the few things that survived when I went down at 70mph totaling my bikein Texas last July. The bike was sliding fine till itwent off the road.

Blue,
Look for somethig that attaches low on the bike. The crash bar/engine guard would be ideal. The bars are a bad idea as they magnify the vibration of the engine. Just look at your antenne sometime. Held in a flexible mount on one end & floaing ( unattached ) on the other , it just shakes. Yes it does asorb the vibes of the engine to you , especialy at cruise. But at idle it shakes like a paint mixer to anything with out enough mass to soak it up. So if there is room, a crash bar mount is the way to go.
