Broken Shifter Paw
I was wondering if anyone with a 2007 or 2008 has had the shifter paw break. I just got mine back after 1750 mile on my new trike. If I can get any info on this I might have a way to get HD to get a recall on it because it would fall under a safety issue and HD would have to cover the repair
BTW, I lost my new warranty and and my 7yr extended warranty thanks to Myrtle Beach HD telling HD I have a after market reverse gear and trike installed on my new bike. They didnt install any of the parts or sell me the bike but did repair it and then told HD that my bike is modified. Now I have no warranty at all.
Beware any non HD exhaust, drive train modification ( motor andor trans ) suspension and tire size change will void your warranty it is in the extended warranty booklet you get with the bike

I got the paperwork started to get my $1400 back for the 7 yr extended warranty. I have a champion reverse gear setup installed along with all my other goodies. Myrtle Beach HD basically threw me under the bus so to speak tellin HD about my trike, after they did the work to repair it.
I just broke mine coming back from Leesburg. Fixed it myself for around $400 including a new belt, main shaft, 4th gear, slider, 5 needle bearings & other crap. Bummer is I am down for two weeks & I am forced to ride my 05 Dyna guest bike. I feel like I am starting off in 3rd gear.
