Supertrap SE Slip ons with a STOCK BIke
I am wondering if someone can tell me if I can put the Supertrap SE slipons on my 2007 Electraglide without changing ANYTHING else on my bike. Just sliip these things on and roll?. I'm not sure if these ElectraGlides running really lean or not. I am just looking for some sound but dont want any ill effects to my bike due to slipon pipes.
Thanks for any feedback!

RE: Supertrap SE Slip ons with a STOCK BIke
Yup, you can.
The bike is set up lean from Harley to satisfy EPA requirements which makes the bike run hotter than normal especially on the back cylinder.
You can change your pipes but you will run a little leaner in some areas of your factory map. Your ECM will be controlled by the O2 sensors in the cruising range and keep you at a constant AFR of 14.7. Less restrictive exhauststock motors without a goodnon restrictive air cleaner will not really mess with your performance that much.
Suggest you get a fuel management system before the weather gets Summer Hot so that back cylinder doesn't cook you. Having the Stage 1flash from your dealership will run about 250.00. You can get a PC III USB for just a little more and will be able to change the settings yourself for future mods.
Edit: Note to above... better performance via a Stage 1 air cleaner and a SERT. Life of the motor depends on the nut that holds the seat to the handlebars. =) A PC III USB is just a cheaper alternative than a SERT but a SERT gives you more control over your bike functions.
Cheers
