Well, I'll take the opposite side, but, my wife doesn't have a bike... but if I could convince her,&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;I would keep it clean, maintained and covered... I'd rather do that than dishes or laundry any day of the week.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; It's great therapy...&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; For now and probably for a long time we'll just continue riding two up... so I only clean one bike... and she does the laundry.

My wife doesn't have a bike but I would clean it if it kept her off of mine. No I usually keep a cover over mine even in the garage&nbsp\\;and I have one&nbsp\\;at&nbsp\\;work so when I ride there&nbsp\\;I let it cool and first coffee break I cover&nbsp\\;it. But I do&nbsp\\;stay at work for 24 hours at a time. I would agree with the king size sheet and cover it when not in use.&nbsp\\;

Let me see, I get home, dinner is ready, house is clean...everyday(I found me a good wife)...I think I can afford a few minutes in the mancave with a frosty cold one every other night or so making sure her bike is clean and covered...My wife doesn't have her own bike, yet, but when she does, I will certainly keep her out of my garage...

I am guilty on this one.&nbsp\\; I would much rather wash both bikes than do the dishes and laundry etc.&nbsp\\; She has never asked me to wash hers or complained that it was dirty.&nbsp\\;

"Hangs head, Yes, I have been known to do all those things as I am retired and she still works. I am waiting for Nora Roberts to come up with a book on Motorcycle cleaning and hoping that will get her interested"

I guess you haven't read "Detailing in Death", might be worth getting it for her
