Default Light triggers?

Has any one tried those magnetic light triggers?&nbsp\\; If so how do they work (any good or not).&nbsp\\; Also will they affect the electronics of the new fuel injected bikes?&nbsp\\; Thanks in advance for any help.

The current traffic sensors no longer sense for the magnetic field created by metal mass of a car - even when they did, they weren't strong 'nuff ta make much of a difference......

Great idea with the jiffy stand. Never thought of that one.

So then, how do they work now?
First of all, they never worked that way. The coil of wire embedded in the ground is the magnetic field, not the bike. The bike or car goes into the magnetic field distorting it. That distortion is sensed and read by the traffic signal. Problem is a bike can't distort the field enough for the signal to read it.

Any good ceramic magnet from an old radio speaker mounted under the frame will work.
