Slotted mags on Street Glide....cool or not?
Here's a question.....what's the general concensus on the black slotted mags that come on the Street Glide? I buy my bikes to actually ride them and for a road bike, cast wheels I feel are the etter choice, but when one is next to you at a light or in a parking lot, would you folks say they look cheap or chinsey? I just can't tell if these things are cool or not.....no big deal and I know there are ore pressing matters out there, but hey, what the hell.........thanks in advance.
I kept mine since they are easier than spokes to clean on baggers. If I had not gone with the black front end and floating rotors I may have thought differently though.
Bottom line is, they look and are stock. Nothing special at all. If you want ease in cleaning and an average STOCK look, this is the way to go but if you want to stand out from the crowd, CHANGE EM!!!

You have that traditional black HD that we all know. You got a nice bike. I like the clean look of that handsome Road Glide front fender that has become stock on the Street Glide as well. I'm not sure I would have gone with the black powder coated lowers though. However, it does draw my eyes to the chrome on the engine. The cast wheels do have an advantage when you tour. Those wheels seem OK but they don't look "Clean" like the rest of the bike. I would have opted for the black chrome covered wagon style wheels. This the ones here.
