putting on new bars tomorrow, any suggestions
I am putting on my 12.5 inch apes tomorrow on my 04 RKC and was wondering if anyone had any tips ot things that would make the job a little easier. \\; I have the manual and all the parts, so now is the fun part, the labor. \\; Any suggestions would be great, Thanks. \\; Jon

12.5 is way to small. Don't put anything less than 14". \\; Believe me, you will end up buying bigger bars later.

I am 5'8" \\;and had the Wildone 12.5's. I now have the 16". When I first bought the bars they did not have 14" apes, now they do. I am happy with my 16" apes and would not get anything less.

If you are sure you don't want 16" apes then get the 14". \\; The 12.5's are to narrow.
