It has caught me and made me jump several times, but i'm getting over it now. \\; Most of the time.
The Harley dealer told me the slide them around all the time on the stand and have never had the stand fail.

The Harley jiffy stand beats the rest. \\; It is by far the best side stand on any motorcycle that I have ever owned.

I have been taking a lot of road side pictures (HogTales' ABCs of Touring) this year. \\; If my EG had a Goldwing type of side stand, I would have had a tow truck picking the bike out of the ditch more then once.
