I rented an 08 ultra and was very impressed with the bike. I have 2 complaints: the heat off the pipes is really toasty in stop and go traffic ( heat shields would be installed). &nbsp\\;And the handle bars are a reach for me. Is there a way to put risers on there( looks like there is a lot of stuff there) or do you change the bars out? I need about 2 or 3 inches pull back to me.

 

You can gain a little bit by rotating the bars back towards you. I put the pullback bars on my scoot and am very happy with the results.

 

Risers won't work, you'll need pullback bars.&nbsp\\; As for the heat? Yeah, they're hot\\; there's a number of solutions from heat shields to fuel management systems.
