What is rough cost of adding Tour pack/CB/INTERCOM to a Road Glide?

Why would you want a CB? You can stop in any bar and hear foul language. Its sorta like this forum without moderators.

put the CB on my EGC, what a waste[:@],&nbsp\\; worst CB I've ever had. If I were doing it again, I'd go with the J&amp\\;M handlebar setup. Wife had a J&amp\\;M on her bike, worked flawlessly, best add on unit out there.

If you are looking for communication between you and your passenger, you might want to look at the BlueAnt system. It is all contained in your helmet and works great. My wife drives her own bike and we use the system as a bike to bike communication. We can cruise along at 70 and carry on a conversation. A lot cheaper than the CB system. Hope this helps.

I did it on mine.

I put a small 100watt amp in the tour pack between the tail lights.
I used the Dragonfly speaker pods with Memphis 6 1/2 speakers.
Kicks a$$ and clear at 80+ mph with earplugs.

Depending on the year of the bike you need to replace the radio or add a CB module.
I have seen the HK CB modules on ebay New In Box for a little over $100.
A CB antenna $40&nbsp\\;and J &amp\\; M headset.

In my case I changed the Radio, a CB Pod to the tank console $100 and I needed to replace the Overlay wiring harness $200.
You do want the PTT button on the handlebars to work dont you?

The tour paks are $800-$1000 , depending on the model and paint , mounting kit is $60 for tour pak and passenger backrest is $200~ depending on which you choose .. Plus lock kits and for your convience you'll want them to be keyed same as your ignition ..
&nbsp\\;
Tour Pak for my '08 Anniversary RG is $950 , two weeks turnaround from Milwaukee .. Has to be painted ..
&nbsp\\;
I have never had good luck with any of the HD comm systems whether CB or intercoms ..
&nbsp\\;
I consider the tour pak a necessity , the other stuff , the comm stuff is a waste of money , at least the stuff HD offers ..
