This is for you tech people. Will a complete 06 street glide rear fender bolt up to 04 road glide. Hit something in the road the other night that came from under a semi beside me and cut my rear tire and damaged my rear fender. Was about to order sg facia anyway now need fender also. I have all the part numbers for everything but the fender. Any help is appreciated.

By looking at it I think it would also, just making sure something I cant see wouldnt hold me up. (hole pattern)

 

It should fit, if anything the holes for the tail light may be different because they use a plug in bulb and the housing has a socket for the s/g light. The s/g fender will have 3 mtg holes on each side for the fascia mounting.

 

It should mount to the struts exactly the same. You might have extra holes in the SG fender for the tail light housing / license plate mount.

 

I used a Road Glide rear fender I bought off ebay to put the Street Glide setup on my Ultra.
It will work.

Thanks for the input. It is supposed to be the same except for the three holes on each side for the fascia and the 175.00 price difference. I went with the road glide fender and bought the street glide facia, I can make my own holes or use the molding tape like has been suggested. That is one expensive night out.
