Got the power, got the ground. Have read on here too many places to hook up the tach lead that are not 2007 rkc specific. HD master tech says pink wire, no such thing on my ride.&nbsp\\;Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jared

On a 2005 Road King it is located under the seat. On my 2001 it is located in the headlight bezel housing. It is a triangular shape and a light color. (I am color blind so I cannot tell what color it is!) I hope this helps.&nbsp\\; Halfbreed

 

Thanks halfbreed, I think the 07s are different, I've heard pink wire under the console, #3 plug under speedo, #3 plug in ecm. anybody else got any ideas?

 

Manual says orange-ignition

ground-bk/gn

 

the pink wire from the tach hooks into the #3 socket&nbsp\\;in the&nbsp\\;plug on the back of the speedo. remove the dash and you will see the vacant hole for it to go in. service manual helps a lot.
