New Scoot
I still lurk, but gave up trying to post........because you know why...............
Just wanted to post a pic of my new scoot, while I dearly loved my ole RoadKing, I was gonna put a new Baker 6 speed in it. That plus buying a detachable fairing w/ paint I was looking at over $4K.
I was able to get this 08 for my 06 RK and $4800.
I'd like to Thank Phil, as his bike is what made me decide to look at the RG, and Iam sure glad I did. While I thought my RK rode nice, it ain't got nuthing on a RG.
**Just wanted to add, those Brembos w/ABS rock!**

Yeah, not much comparison. The King rules..... lol. Nice glide. I'll be looking at a glide of some sort for my next bike. I'll stick with the king for now though (as instructed by the boss).
On a side note, what exhaust did you have on the road king? Looks like a 2-1, but I see the rear cyl pipe is curved around heading to the left side.
