Haha, as I said earlier in this thread, been there done that about three weeks ago.

Picked up my vivid black 09 SG Friday - 290 miles as of Saturday!

That's a Beauty!... I have the '09 Sunglo as well... is that Rider Backrest aftermarket?.. and what was it like putting the Chrome accents on the Bags?.. You didn't need to drill any holes did you?.. thx..jp

 

Beautiful bike. Congratulations. You sound as excited with your 09 as I do with my 07 (except mine is black so it goes faster). ;-)

 

The rider backrest is actually off an 08 CVO Road King. My salesman has a nice little stash of parts he keeps, and he made me a good deal when I told him I wanted to order the small one from the catalog. (they have one that size, just without the CVO stitch pattern)

I let the dealer put the chrome trim on the bag lids. (let them screw it up and have to pay for a new lid ) Thats one of those things I KNEW I would never get on there 100 percent strait. And yes, they are bolted on, so there is drilling involved.
