Default Power Commanders for the 09s-when?

Anyone have the word on when the Power Commanders will be ready for the 2009 Touring bikes?

I talked to Jamie at Fuel Moto a few weeks ago and she said a few weeks...I keep checking his website everday and still nothing....

Harley apparantly made some changes to the electronics for the 09 touring models. Nightrider has discovered that their Xied's don't work with the 09 touring bikes. Seems to be Ok for the Dyna's, Softtails, and XL's, just not the FLH's . http://www.nightrider.com/parts/

Maybe Power Commander is running into similar issues. It'll be interesting to see what they all come up with.

Just talked to Jaimie at Fuel Moto and ordered a set of his Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers...he said his testing shows the mufflers are OK with no PC as long as stock air cleaner...

From his site:

We have already tested the Jackpot mufflers on the 09 Touring models. The new head pipe design works excellent with these mufflers and our baffle design provides excellent Tq and Hp gains as well as excellent sound.

Check out the dyno chart below that compares our totally stock 2009 bike with the stock mufflers vs. Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers. Performance gains are +5.39 HP + 7.55 TQ. This is on a completely stock bike and these dyno runs were 23 minutes apart at 84 degrees. In the following weeks as tuning products become available we will upgrade the air cleaner and tune the EFI and the gains will be even more AWESOME!

Had a PCIII and liked it on my 06. Dealer talked me into a Super Tuner. I guess this replaced the SERT. I will give it a try. Can not take this 09 Ultra in its stock form much longer. Got to have my performance the the Harley sound.

Why can you not use the 08 pcIII on the 09's??? My Hd engine says it will be fine.

Howdy,

"hdvrodsg" please post when you find out what's up with the xieds for the 09's. I had planned on using either the ieds or xieds for the FLHRC I have on order. I hope they get it sorted out before December. I don't really want to run my new Scoot with that lean a mixture.

Cheers, Geeded
