Default Converting Street Glide Passenger Pegs to Floorboards - Cost, Complexity?

Went for a ride today with my wife on the Street Glide. About half way through the ride, she started talking about how nice it would be to have floorboards instead of foot pegs.

For those who've done this conversion, is it complicated? What is the total cost? Any recommendations for floorboards?

Thanks!

Not complicated at all if you can read instructions and have the right size tools. Price is whatever the P and A catalog says, or if you have time you can save by ordering from Zanotti's.

Floorboards and a backrest are "necessities" if you want a passenger to feel at home on your bike!

It would cost you about $300 for the chrome mount bracket, footboard pan, & the pan insert(rubber foot pad) to match the rider shape & design footboards & brake pedal, then you can use the rear foot pegs for hiway pegs just need to buy mounts. Looks good & everything matches. You can also get shifter pegs to match

Harley has the Streamliner Passenger Footboard and Mount Kit 50378-07
Comes with everything you'll need, and is a very easy 15 min. job. The wife loves the boards over the stock footpegs.

Take care Bill

Ordered mine from Zanottis as well. It was a very easy install, took about an hour or so. As far as the price, it was somewhere $350 - $400 or so if memory serves me correct.

(that's with the hefty Zanottis discount)

2 allen bolts and theyre off. Its easy, but costs more than you'd think they would. I did it to mine. If you're patient, look for singles on ebay from bikes that go down and buy em one at a time and you can save some money. Most people want em in pairs, and they show up fairly often. Street glides use the streamliner board, which is swept, but I got a couple from an Ultra and they look and work fine.

Yes it is simple to do. H-D part # 50378-07 and with h-d part # 34967-04 for the shifter you will have the Streanliner collection front to rear. I just did it two months ago for my wife she wanted the floorboards, plus I also floorboard extentions from Harleygoodies, and an extended rear shift lever I am in heven. I just did 461 miles with this set up on my 07 FLHRS road king custom thuough Yosemite to go to a AMA campout.
