Default unbelieveable

Just got back from O.C. bike week. Had to go on four wheels because my ride is still in the shop. Thursday afternoon while driving down RT 50, we saw about 20 cops. At least 12 of them had bikers pulled over. I find it hard to believe that they would bite the hand that feeds them. All the money we bring into town, and all they can think of, is to dip their hand in the pot a little more. I'll bet most of the fines were petty bullsh$t. Just unbelieveable.

One of the reasons I don't go to any of the bike weeks anymore. I don't like the crowds, and the cops are just looking to pull someone over.

I guess a donation to the policemans retirement fund would be out of the question then?

Yeah it was like that in Hollister. I have never seen so many cops in one place. They did the mtual aid thing and had cops working the rally from all over Ca. At times I wasnt sure if there was more cops than riders. I work in corrections for last 22 years and there was so many cops it was even making me nervous! Go figure! They had droves of bikers pulled over everywhere. I bet they were really pushing the limits with "probable cause" to pull bikes over.

Default cops

went down wensday just got home . Most of the the pull overs that i saw were cars. Did see bikes pulled over to most were i at a time. They could have made a million dollars if they had went after bikes for loud pipies and speeding but just seemed to look the other way in the most part. I had a great time with the wifey.

Wife and I went down for the day yesterday and we saw a ton of cops but most of them had cars pulled over. Only saw bikes pulled over once, 4-5 rice rockets and 5 State Troopers. Other than they they kept blowing by me and ignoring my 5mph over the limit back. Almost got clipped by a state boy back here in MD. I'll post the story in the stories section if anyones interested.

Seeing all the bikes is cool, lots of lights, and loud pipes. Kind of cool.

This suprises me. I saw only bikes pulled over on Thursday. Friday I saw a few on the way to Seaford. On Saturday I saw a cop running down the street, after a Harley rider cracked his pipes right beside the cop. The cop started running down the street while talking on his radio. He might have been running for another reason but, it looked like he was running after the bike.

Thats another nice thing about ROT down here. Unless biker is doing something blatant, we are left alone to have fun. Single largest money bringer to the Austin area of the year. Its much appreciated by the riding community. Austin big brother knows from where the butter for his toast comes from.
