13 inch bars
I'm thinking of putting 13 inch bars on my 2008 SG. They look comfortable and I'm kinnda big , 6'2 260 and feel like I'm reaching too much with the stock bars. Did anybody have this problem and if so did the taller bars help?
Any input would be cool. Thanks.

I put 13" Burley's on my RKC. Huge difference from stock. If you think it would help, it most certainly will. Go for it. There are several brands to choose from. I got a great deal ($109.00) and couldn't pass it up. No more reaching for the bars. Matched up with a riders back rest is a perfect ride. I'm 6'0 230.
MoCo and other shops put out that it wont work just to CYA.
To the OP. I'm 5'10" and I love my 13" bars. I have them pushed all the way forward. I even thought about getting 16" bars. The only reason why I haven't is the 13" stick up far enough to look good but the 16" stick up too far and dont look good.
Thanks brypink. Your bike is hot brother!!! The bars look sharp and I think from reading what has been posted that I will give them a try. Angle will be very important so I will make sure to adjust to my fit. Your bars look like they have a curve to them , is that what I'm seeing?

You should look at 13" Cyclesmith also.I have them on my 05 EGC and they're great. You'll need +6 on all cables and brake lines, but you want need to extend your wires, just relocate them under radio. Nows a good time to use chrome switch houseing and stainless braid cables.I bought it all for about 475.
I'm scheduled for 14" Wild1's to be installed on my 2007 RKC on Tuesday. I heard a rumor that the cruise may not work. Somewhere on this forum is where I read this but I can't find it again. The shop installing didn't mention it but now I'm worried because I've gotten use to having it. I can't imagine there being any truth to this but thought I would ask anyway. Has anyone had problems with this?

Good Luck and post pics when you are done!
