Default '08 Wire Color Help, Please!

Could someone help me out with some wire color info? I'm in the middle of a little project and I need to know the wire color of the rear taillight and ground in the wire bundle coming from below the rear fender.

Thanks in advance!

Well, I got the old tester out and, through the process of elimination, it looks like the taillight wire is blue, and the ground wire, not surprisingly, black. Am I right? I don't want to see smoke when I put the fuse back in.

Trooper -

According to the schematics, the '08 domestic models tail-light has a BLACK (ground) wire, a BLUE tail-light wire, and a RED with YELLOW tracer brake light wire.

Is this the info you needed or do you need the wires from the main harness (which includes the directional signals)?

Hope this helps -

Thanks, blueflht. I already have a service manual.

I think what I need for these electrical jobs is the Electrical Diagnostic Manual, unless I'm mistaken.

BTW, here's a pic of my little project. I added the rear marker light assembly which is a police bike take-off item. I think the blue marker lights are a pretty good match for my "Electra Glide In Blue."

Hmm.........maybe I had the wiring info all along and didn't realize it? I'm going to check the service manual now.
