Default Pros & cons of street glide vs road glide

I'd like to hear from you guys that own either a STREET GLIDE OR ROAD GLIDE.......
why did you buy your model and not the other ?
Is there big differences between these two bikes ?
They both look like AWESOME machines, I'm just trying to justify buying one over the other, advantages and disadvantages.
Thanks for you input!

I love the look of the road glide but I went with the street glide cause it's more my style. I'm a little guy so the road glide may have looked too big for me. Both have the same feature pretty much so I guess it's just a looks preference.

I have a street glide and LOVE it. A buddy has a road glide and he LOVEs it.

I have not riden his bike but he tells me that it is not effected by wind with the fixed fairing like mine is.

For me it is looks and I prefer the FLHX.

Buy what you like they are almost the same bike.

Biggest difference I feel is the Frame mounted fairing on the Road Glide versus Fork mounted small fairing on the Street Glide. The Roadie is better in winds and cross winds and the gauges are further away, giving the feeling of more room. The handlebars are a tad different and further away on the Roadie too. But the biggest thing for me was the "cool" factor, so I went with the RG.. There are just too many Street Glides on the road, so common I feel (because they are popular obviously).

I guess it's how you want to see yourself! (Get what you like)

street glide ... had a roadking classic loved it .but the radio and general apperance of the streetglide with the fairing just appealed to me . got to get used to fairing weight but other than that it does everything well as i expected .i think either a rodie or or any of the glides are good choices for touring and comfort.rent a couple at the dealer and make your own choice.

28756 miles on my 04' RG, can't stop riding it, too much fun . . .
That includes two 5K mile trips to Sturgis.
