Has anyone attempted this? I absolutley love the look of the HD centerline grips, but of course harley does not make them for TBW. Has anyone actually purchased non-tbw grips from HD and removed the throttle sleeve from those grips and reused and glued TBW sleeve from the stock grips onto the new grips? I dont really see why this wouldnt work except maybe if the throttle sleeve on the non TBW HD grip is not removable?

 

I made a set of Kuryakyn ISO grips several months before Kuryakyn came out with them for the TBW. I have no idea if the HD grips you want can have the sleeve removed without damaging the grip itself, but with some it can be done.
