Default Rhinehart Baffles???

Just had my Rhinehart True Duals installed today. They are loud. Do they not come with baffles?

Yes they do. Mine became deeper and sounded fuller after about 5 thousand miles.

They are quite a bit louder then the stock pipe. I also agree with Timex, they do sound better with time. I have about 500 miles on mine and think they only sound better the more I run them.

If the sound is still too loud for you, they make a "quite" baffle for them. There's several threads on here that review them and say they are quite good because they lower the volume at idle and on the highway, but you can still get a pretty good bark out of them. I've debated about getting them, but have to admit, I've really grown to love the sound of the stock Rinehart baffle.

+1.
When I put Reinhart slip-ons (not true duals) on my Ultra, at first, they sounded like... Well, I won't say they sounded exactly like crap, but I was kinda shocked the first time I fired the motor after install.

2,000 miles later though, they sound awesome.

Yes they come with standard baffles. You can wrap them with fiberglass to quiet them down a bit. Otherwise Rinehart sells quiet baffles for about $120.
