RE: Rhinehart True Duals
Not sure of the answer. I'd almost say they are the same but not entirely sure.
What I can say is I've gotten used to the sound. In some ways to me they sound quieter than when I first got 'em. It was a huge difference putting the TDs on as compared to my stock pipes/mufflers.
Having had 'em for the last 8 weeks on the bike.... they still sound good.... but don't really hear the low-end rumble as I used to. Actually thinking of upgrading baffles to the performance ones instead of the standard ones.

I have about 5,500 miles on my Rhineharts. Do they get louder with time? They seem "fuller" and "deeper" now, then they did when first installed. Is this my imagination or do they open up with miles added to 'em? Thanks

anyone with the Performance Baffles on the 07 newly re-designed ones? I have the standard ones and wondering how much noise difference between the standard baffles and the performance ones.
One thing is the Performance Baffles are larger (more sound) but I'm a little concerned about the back-pressure. I do have a small amount of popping from time to time on the decel, but it isn't ever decel only when doing harder engine-braking for the most part.
I've heard some say ... don't use the performance ones less I put in a big-bore kit to push out more. Just wondering the thoughts of the experts are on this matter.

I installed the quite baffles in mine after a big bore kit installation, suppose to give you more mid range tourqe if I understand correctly. I know that they got way louder with the larger displacment. Now I have a squeak noise with the new baffles, hard to explane, I'm hoping with a little carbon build up it will go away. I thought about pulling the baffles out and doing a wrap of fiberglass on them.
