Default For those with the leather tour pak..

Has anyone found a luggage rack that will work/fit on the lid? The ones on Harleys site all say chopped or King paks, none list the racks fitting the leather pak.

I saw a picture of a contoured tour-pak luggage rack p/n 79148-06A on a leather tour pak. I think I saw it in the parts for sale forum. Someone was selling the entire package. If you think that's what your looking for, I have one I replaced with the premium rack. I could give you a good deal.

I've seen one on the Road King Classic leather tour pack at the dealership. Looked pretty good. It was the contoured one that riconot mentioned. My premium tour pack came with it installed and it'll hold 10 pounds according to the sticker. I wonder about the strength of the top of the standard leather tour pack though.

I have a road king classic with the matching leather tour pack. I put on the mini tour pack rack (53100-96). I don't have any pictures of the pack with me right now, but could PM you one tomorrow if you want. I have a small T bag that I use on the rack that holds my Leather jacket, chaps when not in use. I only use the pack when touring, this summer, I did two extended trips, 3000 miles and another 1000 mile trip without any problems. Let me know, and I can get a picture for you.

Thanks guys!

The contour rack does look good on there.

I am planning a long trip in 2009 and I don't even have a tour pak yet, that is why I was deciding between the "King" or the "leather". (Which would match my RKC better) But for this trip I would need more storage, you know, wife and all. lol. So I wanted to make sure I could use a rack and expand my storage by adding a bag as well. It looks like the leather would fit my needs more, being that I would only be useing it once in a while and it's less expensive, having the seat come with it, than the King tour pack.

dbianco: if you could PM me some pics, that would be super!

The Contour rack not only looks good, but installs easily, and will cary a larger luggage bag with ease.

I put one on the wifes Deluxe and she loves it for touring.

I had the mini rack on my TP that I sold a few weeks ago. It works great and you can load the crap on it.
