Anyone else???????
Work a second job just for Harley parts? I work at a ranch on Saturday just for Harley parts, been doing it for 8 years. This winter I'm adding about $2000 in parts just for working an extra day a week.
I thought about getting a second job to earn extra cash just for the bike. After thinking about it a bit, I realized I would be giving up time I spend with my wife, so I could buy things for my bike - which her & I usually enjoy riding together. So, less time with her, and she'd spend less time riding.
I decided it isn't worth the trade off. One day, if she is gone and I am still here, I would much more likely regret any moments I could have spent with her but didn't, than I am to regret not buying something chrome for my bike.

I guess we all do what we have to do. My wife is pressuring me to go into teaching part time in the local school district. Not too excited, but I like the idea of extra parts $$....

That's funny! My wife just "retired" (at 43) when we moved to TX for my new job - she doesn't have much to say about my habit now. In the old days I worked all the OT I could to keep a bike or two in the stable.
