Leaving Ohio for California in early spring ’09. Last week of March or the first week of April. Hope to be back by first week of June. Need to find cheapest Gerbing Heated Gear, jacket liner, gloves, pant liner, and socks. Not so sure of what the weather is gone to be like but that’s the plan. But the highs for that time of year are 45-50 deg. And the lows are mid 20’s-30’s deg. Going straight south on way out and through Denver coming back.

 

You're better off to wait until we're heading into spring. There will be heated gear at clearance pricing then.

gerbing or hd, they are the same. gerbing has a better warranty and likely a better price. I bought the hd-- found what I needed after traveling to 4 shops. It is great stuff. 20% off with the Christmas sales.

 

Oh yes, Try Ocean County HD in NJ they are running some great sales... don't know where live but they might ship it.

 

BMW dealers carry the Gerbing, HD dealers carry the Gerbing with HD logo on it. HD's is more expensive. You can get a good deal at one of the International Motorcycle Shows. I' m going to the one in NYC in January. I got my Gerbing there last year.

 

I have the Gerbing's gear and really like it. You can trust their measurement guide on the website to get a good fit and order online if you would like.

they're running a 20% off sale until 12/31/08 they are the only other place I've seen gerbings discounted. Most dealers arounf here don't keep a large stock selection... different places may have a large stock, that they discount in the spring... I wouldn't know
