MicrotrakGPS ?
Anybody using the Microtrak GPS anti-theft device for motorcycles? I just picked a flyer on them and it looks like ONSTAR for bikes. I have had Lo-Jack on one bike and found out you can not move Lo-Jack from one bike to another. The local dealer said that is not a problem with Microtrak. Plus Microtrak covers all of the US; Lo-Jack does not.
What do you all think?

I didn't have time to get specific about prices but the parts guy said that he thought it was $6-700 for the unit and 14.95 a month. He said that you could log on the internet and see where your bike was located at that moment and even put speed alerts so that if someone else was riding it and exceded the speed you set you would be alerted.
It sounds like the inital cost is about the same as LoJack but the coverage is area is superior. I live in the Dallas area and a bike could be stolen and be outside of LoJack coverage in less than 1 hour; not so with this system. At least that is what it appears to be. I will have to do more research before I spring for this system. I have already been bit by LoJack. Oh yeah, this system can be moved from bike to bike. LoJack can not.
