Default Saddlebag Covers anyone

Anyone here have the Saddlebag covers on one's bagger? Item #57805-03A in the Harley Parts book.

Having little hands in the garage I'm thinking it might be a way to help keep them from getting to scratched up.

If someone has them, how do they look on the bike? Does it take anything away from the look of the bike?

Thanks

I use the ones from Ridetek. I think they look better. Either way covers are good.

I had them on the bike when we first got it, and I know for a fact they kept the wife from leaving marks on my bags by accidently kicking them when mounting up. I always took them off to wash the bike, but they have been off for a couple years, since she learned how NOT to kick the bags. I'll never put them on again, I don't think, but they looked ok, I just prefer to see shiny black paint !!! So they sit on the file in the garage.

I got them at first because I liked the look. Since then I've learned that they do prevent skratches from zippers and shoes. Down side is getting them to fit tight.

Dont know the brand, they were their when I got the bike.
Look cool, protect the bags and keep you from getting bummed out when you drag a boot.
BTW, I got a red Road King with black covers and they look great. I take them off when I wash the bike or when I want to show off the bike, but leave them on almost all the time otherwise.

i put on the chrome rails to protect the tops of the bags. They work good, and look good.
