Default Trailer Size

Anybody know what the minimum size would be for a tandem axle trailer that would haul 2 bikes I have an Ultra...I was looking at the 6x12 but not sure I could get 2 bikes in this size?

I have 7x12 tandem V-nose and set it up for 2 baggers ( used 2 friends bikes for sizing ), that way you can put almost any 2 bikes. Plus I have room for numerous other things, 2 spares mounted in front on wall, coolers and any extra luggage the wife wants to bring.

I can tell you a 6 X 10 isn't big enough.

Agree with previous poster. Have a 7X12 double v nose, it's perfect for two bikes (baggers)and lots of non-bike room left for stuff. 7 ft width should be your minimum, although as always those with 6 ft width will disagree. LOL

Ok Guys thanks for the input I was hopeing 6 wide would be enough beings I only have Dakota to tow with and didn't want to add extensions to the mirrors but oh well if I have to it's not a big expense! Have any pictures with the bikes loaded up??

This is a picture of my SG in my 6x10 trailer which I pull with a Toyota Tacoma or I'd have gotten a bigger trailer. Even though a 6x12 is larger, staggering (pull bags) may work but one slip, you've got problems. Not sure I'd want to try that.

I was hoping to get away with a 5' x 8' for my '06 Heritage Softail Classic, but looking at that pic I have my doubts now ??
