Yes I gotta agree. This is just excessive to me plus I just don't like having to order my oil off the internet. Thats also why I don't use Amsoil.

Of course as everyone says over and over, its up to you. But the reason I say that is because these bikes are a hobby and passion. We what we do to feed our passion and if $85.00 oil changes helps you enjoy the ride all that much more, I'm with ya. See, I'm going to buy a SG and spend the extra money for lower fairings and tourpack, when the sensible thing to do is to just fork it out for the Ultra. But that passion thing isn't letting me think strait.

Thanks for posting that! I'll try them next order and I don't mind buying by the case either. As for the V-Twin Power Pack, thats nice to buy first time around as the funnel is actually oddly shaped and quite useful, plus a free hat ain't bad either. Good way to start off with red Line in my opinion, then buy in bulk after that. I like doing my own simple maintenance, especially fluid changes which are not hard to do. Use top quality products and do the job better then your dealer would have, at a fraction of the dealer cost.

Amsoil has three different "Severe Gear" oils for the trans. 75-90, 75-110, and 75-140. Pick the right one for the time of year.
