Just put in the redline shockproof heavy in the tranny and wow what a difference from the amsoil severe gear. This is my 3rd Harley and the first time using a redline product. I've never has a tranny shift smoother or run quieter then with this product. Even the first gear clunk is all but gone. Going to use the 20/60 oil and primary ATF next change.
I got it at Murrys speed shop locally in South Florida. Most speed shops carry it and it's the same product as the Vtwin shockproof just a different label according to the folks at redline.
Yes I too would like to find it. I am using amsoil in my RG and Heritage both but the Heritage still clunks like hell when I shift into 1st gear. I would really like to use it in the Heritage.

Not knocking that stuff. I have a buddy who swears by it and has no tranny problems. I saw a gearset on a bench with Red line on the gears several years ago. The guy who owned the shop said the gear set had been on the bench for a week and the lube was still stuck on the gears. The pink stuff was coated on the gears and didn't seem to run off. He thought that was a good thing. I just wonder how it comes out when you drain it to change oil and do particles stay stuck to it on the gears? Like I said, not knocking the stuff, just wondering. Don't tell me it's about being hot to drain, those gears were hot in the tranny before they were pulled and that stuff stayed on them.
Does the powerpack myoilshop.com advertises carry everything needed for someone switching to redline or do I need to buy it individually with different oils? Here is the link
