Ha! Didn't see the "butt dyno" reference on the first read.

Funny you mention the jackpots. I was actually thinking about that. I'm not sure what the inlet size is, but it would be nice if I could just cut the muffler section of the Big Shots off (since they are one piece) and do a nice slip on like those over the head pipes. I'd have to get some measurements together though.
Jamie had a map for the TC96 with 26H? Didn't know he had it, but would like to see his dyno run. I'm considering a cam swap, leaning toward the 21H.

I was leaning that way too until I contacted Andrews. They don't recommend the 21H in a 96". They said I would see "very little improvement" and that the 26" was the way to go. I figured if anyone should know, they should.

I put the 26G in my 95". The V&H Ovals sounded the same before & after to me. But then, my hearing is shot.So what do I know?

I've been playing phone tag with them, but maybe I don't need to talk to them now. "Very little improvement" isn't what I want to hear, but I wonder why this is so.

phone tag is better than no tag. I have been trying to reach them for almost 2 weeks. I have a 26H and a 55H waiting on a decision at the dealer.

Only thing is... The exhaust is quite a bit louder now. I have V&H big shot duals with the Big City Thunder QQ baffles (their version of the quiet baffle). Before the cam swap I was really happy with the sound and db level. It still sounds great, but maybe I'm too old. I just think they are too loud now.

Been thinking about going to a Fat Cat for a while now (again, after much reading) and was wondering if anyone is running one with the quiet baffle and the 26 (or any other bolt in cam) on their 96" motor. If so, how is the sound. Police magnet or nice and mellow? I've heard the clips on youtube, but I'm not sure of the engine setup.
Matrix; Just happy to hear about U being happy about the 26's, I just ordered mine today and they will install soon..
I also have Rush 2" on my FLSTC and hope it doesn't make them too much louder.
My son put 204 in his 07 Deuce last year and V&H BR2-2 and they were louder than I would want.
Last week he got a new NT and had the 204's and BBL's installed before they delivered it and it is loud but a lot deeper tone.
Both of his bikes we were told that the cams would liven up the sound but the pipes and cams were done at the same time.

I got very good results from using Head Quarters HQ500 cams and a Fat Cat with the quiet baffle. I makes 90HP ands 93 Torq, it sounds great (not to loud and not to quiet) and it has a lot better sounding idle, when you start it, it sounds all business now.

I am running Andrews 26g's on my 88" motor. When it was tuned for some discontinued SE's that I got on ebay she pulls 100.7 ft./lbs of tq. and she has a little over 78hp. Since I added a Fatcat with the quiet baffle my seat of pants tells me she's got a little more hp! My nose tells me (rear sparkplug too) she is a little rich and will probably get better with a tune. The sound is soft but nasty. In between the Screaming Chickens and the Fatcat I was running Fuelmoto (Rush type) Jackpot's with 2.0" on the right side and 1.75" on the left side. IMHO the Fatcat is deeper and richer sounding, MAYBE a LITTLE bit louder but more power than the Jackpots. Hope this helps. BTW- I liked the Jackpot's too!

undate; dyno sheet after cams put in.

1st sheet is with cams, 2nd is base run when new and I put the new line in for the 26's to be able to compare on 1 sheet because they were done at two different places and couldn't get them on the same sheet..

And yes the cams make the pipes louder and deeper. at least 10-15% but still the rush's are tame when puttin through town. but roll on it and !!!!

I had lost track of this thread. Matrix...my Propipe is considerably louder with the 26's installed. Sounds a lot better too, but louder isn't really what I wanted. I think I'll pull the baffle one of these days and re-pack it. BTW...I LOVE my 26's!
