on my 05 i used a lighter from the marine section at wally world it came with a socket and bracket did a little grinding on the bracket and mounted it using the left side windsheild acorn nut next to the windsheild bag, ran a hot wire to the aux port under the seat (it uses duetch conectors from dealer about a 1$)it grounded through the windsheild bracket as long as u leave one of the spring things touching the metal part of mount.

Harley sells a power outlet kit for the right side cover of the touring models. It comes with a templete for drilling the hole in the side cover. It also connects directly to the aux. connector.

for the radio youll need to run the ground wire the spring on the bracket isnt reliable enough for that it is ok for lighten smokes but will cut in and out on the radio that should be hard wired to the aux port.
