Mine gets tucked away and I forget about it. I'm riding, not working. I dont care about phone calls, email or getting lost.

 

I believe HD has a new slip cover that the smart phones can be held in and this has a couple of magnets that will hold it to the tank. I'm gonna look into this because I have the same problem. Hope this helps.
