Fast Aire
Recurve shileds in in my opinion don't work. I had the 6" recurve and then went to the 6" standard and the latter offered more protection. The recurve seemed to push the wind right into my face. I think www.clearviewshields.com offers a W/S with a slight curve at the top that probably works well but I never owned one. But Klock Werks and the like recurve is a waste of money IMO.
I agree 100 percent. Glad to see its not just me.
Ive tried recurves from two vendors, (Fastair and Clearview) IMHO, while they may kick the air VERY slightly higher, (1/2"-3/4") they create MORE turbulence doing it. Both mine rattled the sunglasses right off my face. Changed to a NON recurve of the SAME height, problem gone.
Will not waste money on another $100+ recurve shield again.
BTW, Fastaire DID contact me when I ordered a plain shield from them 3 weeks after ordering their recurve, wanted to find out what I did NOT like about the recurve. Seemed genuinely interested in finding what he could do to improve it. I think he eventually stopped offering a recurve due to problems with getting them manufactured. But the fact that he NOTICED that I ordered another one after the recurve, and made the effort to contact me to resolve why, shows very good customer service and a commitment to improving his products.
For that reason, he is #1 on my list for shields.

No visiblity what-so-ever. I can see fine over mine and I think it looks sharp. To each monkey their own tree!
I have the 9" dark grey and the 8" light grey, I can look over both of them, so night or day riding doesn't change anything. The stock 12 was right in my line of sight. Can't beat fastaires prices.
Good to know. Thanks
