Yeah those are goldwings this is HDF and if you keep watching more of his videos he lays the thing down. Great Skill yes but if you are scraping your floor boards you are doing something wrong. either going to fast, leaning too much, think if he hit sand on one corner like that he is in the other lane or the raspberrys i am just saying RIDE SAFE!

The rear end of my bike hopped to the side about 8 or 10 inches and veered hard to the right...I damn near went down. Maybe I should consider raising mine some how. Any suggestions?
You might have to take a page from the crotch rockets and drag a knee.

But seriously, just a little weight transfer (upper body) to the inside reduces the lean angle required for the turn. If that ain't enough you might have to hang a cheek in the breeze.

love doin' it and only 'coust the old lady hates it. I do on occasion get a little scurd' when I think about hitting too hard and digging the mount in.

You should go real slow just to be safe.

+1 to Cheiron - my first side stand scrape left big pucker marks in my seat.

I know just what the op is saying. I never left the driveway without scraping on my 05 Heritage. I have been 12,000 miles so far on my 08 street glide. I am riding faster, taking curves faster and have only scraped one time.

The glide just does the same corner without having to lean as far, at least for me.

You'll be scraping before the end of summer, I promise you. Just keep your head turned in the curve, looking where you WANT to go NOT where you are.... Enjoy, and ride safe, those scrapes happen when we least expect em.

-1 leftcoaster i am not saying drive slow just take your turns slow you want to show you got some ***** take a full dresser and do a parade like the cops do and drag your floor boards doing 7 mph then get back to me. no need for disrespectin anyone just saying that there is no need to drag anything. grow up.

don't know about you guys but the new bottom exhaust routing keeps me scraping the heat shield on the left side. On the right I scrape the floor board brackets.
