Default Boots and Riding.

I ride every day in NE OH (unless the roads are icey) I put a min of 25,000 on my motorcycles, every season! My boot last me about 10,000 miles. The last pair I bought were HD brand abosolute garbage at 10,000 miles I wore through the leather down to the sock from shifting, so I started shifting with the sole and after 3,000 miles has now seperated from the boot. The boots are less than a yr old and look like they are about 10 years old. Also when it rains the boots fill up with water through the side zipper. Now having stated all that what should be the next boot I buy factoring the type of riding I do and the fact that I live in them.
Thanks
e

Buy some of these and you won't wear them out. You can also have them resoled. The best boots that I have ever owned.

Cruiserworks boots for me. Comfy right out of the box, can walk all day in them or ride in the rain all day with them. Completely waterproof.

+1 on the FXRG's. I also like the Luchesse 2000's with crepe sole. I also use a heel & toe shifter to save wear and tear on the upper.

Default Boots that will last

Red Wing motorcycle boots- waterproof, great oil-resistant soles, very comfortable. I've had a pair for 3 yrs now and love them.

Without a doubt the best quality and most durable boots are Wesco's. I wear my boots all day every day and ride nearly as much as you and I wouldn't wear anything else. They are very expensive at first, but are way cheaper over time because they are so durable. Wesco can not only resole them, they can rebuild them for about half the cost of new boots.

They offer both stock boots and will also completely custom make a pair to your measurements and specs. I have a pair of the 18" high Boss models which look like this:

I have Sidi On Road. They are a little pricy but I've had them since '03 and they are still holding up
