Does anybody have any experience with installing the Terminal Velocity themselves? How hard or easy it? And how would the install affect the factor warranty? Thanks in advance.

I have one & love it. If you feel comfortable with cutting & wiring it is not a big deal. Just take your time and double check yourself after you are complete.

Installed mine myself. Heard that Terry Components is coming out with a model that will plug in to the efi controller, just leaving the tps wires to be soldered- that would save some time and frustration. Otherwise, its not difficult. Just allow yourself at least three times as long to do the job as they say it will take.

One other thing- liquid electrical tape.

All connections were made in the right wire rail under the tank on my bike. I installed the unit in the open area forward of the battery, at an angle so i can see the LED reflection in the rear cylinder exhaust heat shield. Pretty easy to install.
