Having been over the bars and under the bar...I wear full face always, and don't have to clean the bugs off my teeth.

Nothing beats a "full face" for cold weather or rainy weather riding. Wear a shorty in the heat of summer but even on trips plan to take a full face along in case of rain etc. If you ever lay it down, you'll wish you had the FF on.

I always wear a FF modular -- having had two accidents never any head issues.

FF Helmets are requirement in our club--they are mandatory at all club rides

Wow, thats interesting. Pretty strict if you ask me, and I though that HOG had about the most rules etc.

Man, I thought I was the only guy on a Harley that wears a FF helmet. Around here it unheard of. But it cuts out alot of the wind noise and helps keeps my glasses on. I wore a 1/2 helmet once and my glasses blew off at 65MPH. it suxs riding down the hiway with the world a blur. Its dangerous enough when you can see the idiots around you. Its suicide when you can't. Ride safe.

the club started this after a beloved member lost his life; a lady ran a stop sign and hit him -- he was wearing a novelty helmet and suffered head injuries --the medical staff said if had a DOT helmet on he would not have died - after that the club voted and adopted the rule -- now I see more and more with them. We all get them painted to match the bike--once you get use to them (which it took me months to do) you feel nakeid without them.

I had this one painted to match my 08 RG (gone to HD Heaven)

full face modular here. after you get use to it you hate to ride without it, no bugs to clean out of your teeth, rain doesn't feel like needles, and a quite ride Quite is nicest part.

I never minded wearing a full face helmet but I didn't realize why until now. Thanks!
