Well they each have their advantages but I really like the 550. I think it was a mistake for them to not put XM on the 660. I am surprised they got rid of the 450 but I guess that is what the 660 replaces.

As far as I know the 660 is a replacement for the 450 and will not be available until May.

For anyone that has had a problem with their Zumo shutting off on them. There is a software update that solves the problem.

I've had mine for 2 years and couldn't be happier. The XM option is cool, because it saves room and you can hear your tunes and verbal instructions @ the same time.

As far as using songs from iTunes.. All you need to do is convert them to MP3. It's easy to do do. Heads up on this. Turn the sound limiter off before you rip and your MP3's will be louder when you play them back.

I wondered the same thing re: 450 price. I almost pulled the trigger at X-Mas but went with Gerbing gear instead. Went back the first of March and the cost was up over $250 from the Dec. level. WTH?

I like my 550 I've had it about 2 years now with no problems.
I just did the Map upgrades for life I thought it was a good deal.
