Default anyone ever use Iron Cross Audio in NJ?

I still am having radio problems with my HK unit. Somebody had sent me a email address to Iron Cross Audio for NJ and they said they fix HK radios for 250 with a 6 month warranty. I am just wondering if anybody ever used them. They are about $100 less than HD.

Dude, obviously this is gonna be a stupid question, but that thing is out of warrenty?

If the place will stand by thier work without additional "deductables" each time, I would give them a shot.

That sucks to hear your having issues with that unit.

I have used them, but then I was the one who posted their address. I know a few other local guys who have, and a few dealers. They were keeping it quiet because their techs all worked for Harman. but Harman decided to "save money" and outsource their refurb to a service provider, so there going to make themselves available to everyone. www.ironcrossaudio.com or 201-207-7157. ask for Tony, he's their service manager. Good luck.

Cool Iron Cross Audio is Great

I used Iron Cross Audio to install a rear mounted aux on my HK radio for my ipod. They did a very professional job, works great. They received it on a monday and it was already shipped back by monday afternoon. I would highly reccommend them.

I just used them this past fall to repair water intrusion to the face readout. They were very good at explaining everything and the turn around time was quick. The radio is like new and has been just fine. Mine was from an 06 Ultra, they replaced the faceplate, LCD readout and PCB as well as waterproofing it to eliminate future episodes of the same. Total was around 250.00 with a 6 month warranty. I spoke with Tony and if I remember correctly his failure rate was really low around 1 or 2 percent so I did not opt for the extra warranty. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

They repaired a locked-up (software issue) HK head unit that HD's tech services said was absolutely dead and unrepairable. Spoke to Tony a couple of times before sending the unit in for repair ($150) and understand his and their other techs' Harman Kardon background. Shipped the unit on Wednesday, it was repaired and shipped on Saturday, and installed it on Tuesday. They also installed an AUX plug in the back for future GPS app.

Highly recommend Iron Cross Audio.
