Default Carbon Fiber Helmets

Anyone familiar with these:

http://www.carbonfiberhelmets.com/index.html

I need a new lid and want to get something light but DOT approved.

I'm also looking at the Nolan Outlaw

Thanks,
Charlie

I have the carbon fiber/kevlar helmet but, my dealer now has a new helmet that is lighter and cost less than the carbon fiber. I'm not sure of the name of it but, I can find out, a friend of mine has one and loves it.

I have one from them and so does my dad, the shell is very thin (less bulky) and they're very light, I believe their carbon fiber helmets are the 'lowest profile' of any DOT helmet out there. I looked at a lot of other companies, weighing my options before I found these guys. I'm quite happy with mine.

Remember...it might be lighter and cheaper than the ACC helmet...but is it only carbon fiber? Carbon fiber itself can be brittle without the addition of kevlar to give it further strength!

ACC's reputation speaks for itself and will be My next purchase after doign all the research!

The name of the new helment is Hybrid, it is supposed to be 8oz lighter than the carbon fiber, it is also DOT approved. My friend is trying to talk me into getting one, he loves his. He use to ware a skull buster before these came out.
