I bought this locking lever from a guy on the Zumo Forums. It replaces the useless locking screw. It's an easy off solution. Whenever I leave the bike, I just pop off the Zume and lock it away in my bags. If they want the ram mount, they can have it.

Take it off, lock it in the tour-pack.

THis sounds crazy but unless I'm in a really bad place I just put my half helmet over it to cover it and use the chin strap to keep it from possibly falling off. Been doing it for years with no problems. I also never lock the ignition switch, just use the security system to kill the ignition.
