Does anyone have any first hand reviews of Cycleshades or similar small, shade products?

luv mine. been using one for several years. Keeps the sun off the paint, and leather. Keeps the seat cool. packs up real small. on and off in seconds. great product.

Default common sense

Ya know, when I was a kid, I didn't dare touch anyones stuff, cuz they'd kick my ***, then my dad would too. (Then him and my dad would have a beer and call me a wussy for crying after the beating!)

When I was a bit older, and bigger, not only did I remember the lesson or respecting others property, but I was worried about the "big bad *** bikers". (Now pronounced US as in you and I) I've found most of us to be some of the nicest and givingest people around.
I developed a habit along about 12 years old, and still have it today. I put my hands in my pockets, and keep at least a foot away from others stuff when looking at it. I have never had a problem (Except the wife complaining that I'm paying a bike or car more attention than her)
I truthfully can't say what I'd do if I "found" someone sitting on my bike. I guess it would depend on who (age, sex, attitude) and how my day was going. I'd hope I wouldn't hurt some poor ignorant bastard, but would instead tactfully let him know that that it was not acceptable. Of course if he was an *** at that point, I guess it might come to blows. Touchy subjects when it comes to finding someone else on your bike, it's like finding someone else on your ol lady.

Cycle shade looks like a good idea for keeping folks off your bike.

When you see someone sitting on your bike taking pictures, you walk up and say, "Hey, let me take a "Before and After" picture." When they ask "Before what?" You say, "This!" and hit them in the face with your helmet.

I would have jumped on the girl that was on the bike then asked her friends to take pictures. Maybe even start her up and take her for a ride. It's only fair right?

Actually, you could have been run up with assault charges by blowing out there in a rage if that's what you did.
Yeah, our bikes are our pride and joy, but they are only iron and plastic. The person who damages it would have to pay.
If you just want to vent on someone then, well there's your opportunity. Lots of other reasons also, I.E. I said pass the salt, not the pepper!!!!
Gunny, I can only say you been outta the suck for too long. Kick *** and take names later, me thinks!

Something similar happend to my Bro-in-laws scoot at a local bike show. I just got back together after doing a custom paint job and we came back to the scoot to find a nearly half naked, stoned scank (and I mean SCANK) sitting and rubbing herself all over it. Well he went f*%$^n nuts. She ended up being escorted away by LEO. Some people?
