Here is a thought. Leave the red tape on for a while. Maybe like suggested try a narrow red stripe as well. The tape will look good and you can make a decision on what you will like for the long run before you spend the money to make it more permanent.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I plan to leave the red on for a while and see how I like it before taking the time and spending the oney to change it. I would do that over the winter.

the Blue is subtle and I like that, but the Red pops and I like that too.

I guess only time will tell.

Red is a little more 'old school' looking, especially with those tank badges. You won't have the cost of re-striping around the bottom of hard bags, so you're saving some $$ there.

I like the red but that is probably going to be a lot of money just to change the stripe.
